How cancellations and refunds are handled for funeral arrangements and products.
This policy explains how GNC Funerals approaches cancellations and refunds for funeral arrangements and products.
If you need to cancel or amend a confirmed funeral arrangement, please contact us as soon as possible. Our team will explain how this is handled for your specific arrangement, whether in person or telephonically.
Cancellation of ordered products, such as coffins, caskets or tombstones, is handled on a case-by-case basis, particularly where an item has already been ordered or customised on your behalf. Please speak to our team directly for details relevant to your order.
Where a deposit has been paid, please contact our team directly to discuss whether, and how much of, the deposit is refundable in your circumstances.
Refunds for payments already made are considered based on the extent of services or products already provided, or costs already incurred on your family’s behalf. Our team can talk you through this for your specific situation.
Amounts relating to services already performed, or costs already incurred by GNC Funerals on your behalf, are generally not refundable.
Costs already paid to third parties on your behalf, such as cemetery or church fees, or printing, may not be refundable once incurred.
Customised or specially ordered products, such as an engraved tombstone, may not be eligible for cancellation or refund once ordered or once production has begun. Please contact us to discuss your specific order.
Where a refund is due, our team will confirm the processing timeframe and refund method with you directly, in person or telephonically.
We will accommodate requested changes wherever reasonably possible. Changes may affect the final amount payable.
